We sell stories, to womens weekly magazines, this blog, is
split into two, showing the stories that magazines are after each week,
and the more specific stories, if you have a story, and are unsure if its
suitable, feel free to email me, to find out more, if I don't respond

If you don't have a story that is on the list below, feel free to ask
to go on the mailing list for future media requests, thanks.
Please note, we ALWAYS, go through your story with you, before printing
it, we only print, what you want to be printed. You can earn up to 2K for
your story, and there is opportunity for it to be printed elsewhere, TV
interviews etc, but all is done with your permission, and with further
payment to yourself.
Most people have a story to tell but don't even
realise it! If you're in any doubt, please apply and we'll give you an
honest opinion. We like usual stories, but also the following type of
stories are particularly attractive to our markets:
Romance:
Did you meet your partner in strange circumstances?
- Did you meet after a long absence?
- Is your partner a lot older or
younger than you?
- Did you meet through tragic or
amusing circumstances?
- Do you have a big age gap?
- Decided to get married, the day you
first met your man?
Betrayal: Has your partner betrayed
you?
- Perhaps with a close friend?
- Did you plot to catch him out?
- Have you sought revenge from a
love-rat?
- Have you escaped from a violent
partner?
- - My man cheated on me while I was
pregnant
Weight: Have you been anorexic? We
will need before and after photos, and you will have to have gone down to
6 stone or more, for it to sell.
Are you overweight?
Has your eating disorder led you to
find love?
- Have you lost 10 stone or more?
- Had a gastric band operation that
went wrong?
Crime: Have you helped to solve a
crime?
The person, needs to be convicted for
the story to sell.
Weddings: Have you had an unusual
wedding?
Did you marry against the odds?
= Had cosmetic surgery that has gone
wrong?
Spent x to look like your favourite
celebrity?
How much will I be paid for selling my story?
There are many reasons why you might decide to sell a story. But how
much money you will earn from selling your story to a newspaper,
magazine or television is not an exact science. Even editors disagree on
whether something is a ‘good story’ or not and how much money to pay …
How much money you earn for selling your story depends on the
following: Generally speaking, you can get up to 2K for a story, but
it could be more, or less, this depends on other stories that come at
the same time as yours, but I can guarantee one thing for you, the
journalist will get the BEST price possible for your story.

Have your story in major national magazines as Chat, Best, Take a Break,
Pick Me Up, Real Life, Women, That’s life to name a few womens weekly
magazines and will pay well for your stories! So you know what stories we are
after, here are some to of the sites, we provide stories for.
The more information you put in your summary, the bigger chance of selling it.
Please send full summaries, for the following, for your best chance to sell
your story. If we think this is suitable, we will contact you.
I met my man, at the school gate
My son was killed
I was told to lose weight or die
My ex stalked me, he is now in prison
Anything considered, so write a few lines
about it and I will contact you if it’s something I think is good enough – it
could be worth hundreds or thousands of pounds.
Payment: Hundreds OR thousands of pounds
You will need to be interviewed and photographed.
Top stories win 2K.
You can pull out anytime until publication.
Please send in a full summary, and answer any questions fully, for the best
chance to sell your story.
The magazines we work with are the weekly womens magazines. We read back the
story you have given us, BEFORE a story is sent to publication, so that you
know what is going to be printed, before it comes out in print, at which
point, it can be changed, as you see fit.
Feel free to send your story in, if we think we can use it, we will tell you
within a few days, if we can’t use it, but know who will use it, we will also
let you know. We prefer, unusual or extreme stories, because they make more
money!
Re payment, the journalist will need to go through the story with you, and
then sell your story to the magazines, the amount you will be paid, will
depend, also on what other stories have come in, but if you send in your
story, I can pass your story onto the journalist, who will give me a yes or
no, on whether they want to talk to you about your story or not, the yes or
no, should be within 7 days, they will then discuss your story with you,
within a fortnight, and go from there,
The journalist, will get the biggest price they can, the price ranges anything
up to 2K. You can pull out anytime up until publication, and they won’t print
anything you don’t want them to.
